Helping Raise Awareness

Pain Awareness Month is a time when various organizations work to raise public awareness of issues in the area of pain and pain management. The first Pain Awareness Month was in 2001, when the ACPA led a coalition of groups to establish September as Pain Awareness Month.

Pain Awareness Month

At the Nerve Health Institute™, we deal with many cases of pain. Patients are coming in with all types of aches and soreness, arising from an injury or just normal daily life where the body is taking a lot of stress. Understanding the underlying cause of pain is what really matters most. Many people are so used to taking pain medications to relieve their pain when in fact, it is only temporarily masking the pain.

Rehabilitating Weak Nerves is the Key

Your pain may be stemming from a nerve that is weak or not firing correctly. At the Nerve Health Institute™, our doctors are certified in Quantum Neurology® which is a unique technique that thoroughly examines every relevant nerve in your body. We through a systematic nerve test to examine which parts of your body show signs of weakness. Through a patented light therapy tool developed by George Gonzalez, Founder of Quantum Neurology® to help his wife recover from a spinal cord injury, our QN doctors are  helping athletes who suffer from concussions.

Everyone has acute pain from time to time, typically coming from an injury, like cutting a finger or pulling a muscle; usually the pain goes away within 30 days or once the injury heals. Nerve rehabilitation will actually help to make the pain go away faster because we are helping the body heal itself by creating stronger nerve connections almost immediately during our sessions.

Chronic Pain

Chronic pain, on the other hand, persists or progresses; your body keeps hurting for weeks, months or even years. Many of our patients have been dealing with chronic backaches, arthritis, or migraines for years.  It’s not normal to have chronic headaches although many people often admit that they just take a pain reliever and accept it as part of their day.

Time for a Nerve Checkup

Please take the time to make an appointment at the Nerve Health Institute™ for yourself or  a loved one. You don’t have to live with chronic pain and we can help. See our success stories on our Facebook page and like/share to spread the word.
