This is Where I Come in For You
Dr. Angelique Miller, DC
Changing Lives, One Patient at a Time
“I truly feel as though this is what I am meant to do in life, and how many people can honestly say that? I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to be a healing hand for our community in so many areas of nerve health and rehabilitation.”
Dr. Angelique Miller, DC of the Nerve Health Institute was born and raised here in Lafayette where she attended Comeaux high school. She then attended UL for a short time before attending Chiropractic school in Houston at Texas Chiropractic College, where she graduated in Spring 2017.
She is not your typical Chiropractor; what sets her apart is the time she takes with her patients, the thorough care, and the individualized healthcare of each one of her patients. The Nerve Rehabilitative work that she does tackles so many different complaints all over the human body.
When you come for you initial visit, Dr. Miller will explain how active, non-invasive care of the nervous system can help to achieve efficient whole body function. She works as a “human electrician” to turn the “breakers” on in the body that are off so that symptoms can decrease or resolve and quality of life can improve. Her passion is quite simple: to give people their lives back— whether that means in great proportions or even just the small details of everyday life.
Outside of the office, Dr. Miller is active in the community and tries to give back as much as she can. She is an advocate for Brain Injury survivors and their families. She works with local organization, “AMAZE Brain Injury Group” to spread awareness about brain injuries of all types and educating those affected by brain injuries on the avenues of care that are available to them outside of the traditional medical model. Dr. Miller also participated in the first research study on the Quantum Neurology Technique in New Orleans earlier this year and the findings showed what they already know about the success of nerve rehabilitation, and even more than they expected.
She also acts as a team physician for the Louisiana Drillers Hockey, CMP Prep Academy Drillers Football, and Louisiana Krewe Futbol Club based in Lafayette. Her work with Louisiana sports teams is mostly geared towards concussion type injuries and helping the players to rehabilitate faster and better through comprehensive cranial nerve work. Helping the players play their best, prolong their careers, and get back in the game faster is what drives her every season!
Dr. Miller is looking forward to meeting you, learning from you, and teaching you about what she does and the possibilities that are out there! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to email her at DrMillerNHI@Gmail.com. Follow Dr. Miller on Facebook, Instagram, and her blog website!
